SPRING FROM CLASSIC HAULERS

I ordered a glove box spring from classic haulers for $5,I talked to
CHELSA & she said that the standard shippimg was $13 so my total
bill would be $18 for a $5 spring, she told me that was not fair for something that she could put in a manilla envelope,so she adjusted
my shipping charges to $2 & that she gets a lot of orders from fte
she also said that when they get customers that they cant answer their
questions they tell them to go to fte.it is real nice doing business with
a company like that. thank you chelsa Bob

Very good. BTW, both Classic Haulers and Midfifty sent us a box of catalogs, some tootsie rolls, some little truck hat pins, and some gift certificates that we handed out at breakfast at Truckstock. It was a nice gesture. Thanks.

I have a LOT of things left to buy for my truck. My experience with Classic Haulers has been such that my list of items to order from them is nearly $1,200. And most of those items were originally on my list to be purchased from other companies. That's how much I like them. And it's not just the Tootsie Rolls... They are honest and helpful.

GOD! What a dope! Read a bit here and there on this forum about Classic Haulers, and how satisfied everyone has been with them, but didn't know where they were.

CH is about 17 miles up the highway from my front door!!!!

Even Gertie could make the trip easily, hell, I could ride up on my bicycle.

And here I've been shelling out wads of green on shipping...

What a dope.

I bought from them even though I have a dealer with the same parts about 20 miles from me. The local guy has limited hours and I've met him a few times at swap meets and at his store, he didn't impress me with his personality. If I bought from him I'd have to take off of work early, drive 1/2+ each way. If I had him ship it wouldn't be much cheaper than shipping frome Classic Haulers and I wouldn't get the Tootsie Rolls.

Could you make it work with a universal cable like this one from Summit:

ATP 135-YC101 - ATP Speedometer Cable Core Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com

$5 for the cable and probably $10 to ship it!

Thanks, but I'd rather spend the $20 on the actual repro cable. All other repro parts places list them online, but not on CH's website. I'd like to compare their price to the other vendors.
