Gauge lights

well ever since i got my truck, no ligths on my cluster work,. every once in a blue moon when i turn on my blinker that light will blink like it should, but besides that none of the lights work, so i decided to go into it today, im going to clean the circuit with qtips and alcohol, and im going to replace the bulbs, should i just replace the bulbs inside the little black cases, or should i try and find the little black cases as well?

First I'd probe around with a test light and find out just why they aren't working.

well i don't have a test light so i figured id do a feww simple things firstt
