I was hoping that this truck would get me by until I get my '99 PSD built. It pulled this '64 Pontiac wagon pretty good and I caught myself running 75mph without knowing it. The LWB, 351, with towing package seemed alright. Now the gas mileage is another topic. With 64k miles and COLD a/c, I guess it has a long way to go.

I assumed it has 3.55 gears.

My Centurion has the same powertrain, and with the length of the crew cab frame it tows really nicely. I try to keep my load 6k lbs or less, and she does pretty well. I've also caught myself over the legal limit a couple of times.

Fuel mileage... not to get off track, but the best I've managed is 14 towing, with about a 4k load and a light right foot.

yea I have 3.55's. The man I bought it from was 72 when he bought this '93 Truck. So he put 63k in 20 years. The new Ford he bought last friday at age 92 will probably be driven even less miles. He bought a new F150 with a 6cyl.
