Congrats. You're not going to believe it's the same truck or the same motor when you get it back.

If you ever get a chance, find someone who's got a banks or bully dog chip and drive their truck so you can see how pathetic that is compared to what you just signed up for.

I guess the top end checked out ok? I had suspected as much. Be sure and report back after you get done with your test drives.

Just a word of warning. Expect your MPG's to go down the drain for the first tank or two, and keep your eyes open for the local speed traps. The right foot tends to get heavy right after you do a bunch of go fast mods.

Congrats on all the new goodies, that is a huge step to do at once. The truck is going to be light years ahead of where it is now.

Please share pictures when you get a chance.

Well, you'll likely be somewhere around 350hp, maybe when he gets his tranny, you can compare. Take vids too.

yea with stage ones I doubt you'll be able to keep up with that dodge, not meaning to burst your bubble but hes got some HP on you, and hes a lot lighter from the factory. However, you WILL have an extremely fun truck to drive, that will perform excellently no matter what you want it to do!

Congrats! Start saving for that tranny and my guess is bigger injectors. It wouldnt surprise me if you're wanting to upgrade yours after a little while.

Bigger inj... uh... I don't know about others, but my stage 2s are it for me until I flat wear the injectors out. I have experience with things like this - as it pertains to boats. Anybody who has a boat is familiar with "two-foot-itus". "If I had a boat just two feet longer, that would be perfect." That sentiment is repeated one season after acquiring the two-foot-longer boat. I always go big... my next boat is four feet longer. I've learned this keeps the itch "at bay" much longer.

dieselguy26 - You might as well start practicing for your first drive on the upgraded truck... repeat after me: "Owe Mai Gawd!"

I hope this is wrong, but it's not too far fetched. Start saving! I made it to 182k before the original tranny went...80k of that was chipped

WOW! 80k on a chip? That's pretty good.

I just replaced mine at 300k miles, died two weeks after I put a chip in it. I was not the first owner of the truck, had her for four months now, but the shop said it appeared to be all stock. I was expecting it.

Yep...and about 45k of that was with a Superchip, and NO mods to my tranny. Then I upgraded to DP Tuner, and lots of other stuff, along with a John Wood Valve Body.

To the original poster....getting that BTS VB is a gooooooood decision with all those mods! I hope it prolongs the inevitable as long as mine did
