Hey guys just got a 98 F-150 4x4 for graduation, it is great from what I have found out. It is one mean machine. It is a big step up in speed and power from the old I-6. Little bit jump on the Gas, but I love it. So anything I should expect from this truck, or anything that I should know or buy for it? Thanks guys.
Well i think a toolbox is allways a must IMHO
I am thinking of getting another one becasue mine is junked to the top and i can hardly close it..lol
Get you one running on the back window...
If it is extened cab then I would tint the front two windows to match the vent windows..I am a farmer and I think the windows matching is a must..but I seem to allways have my window rolled down lol..
You got bench seats or bucket...is it cloth of leather??
You have the slideing rear window?
got the 6 disc cd-changer?
What color is it??
Mine is a 97 extened cab 4x4 and the 97 to 99 look the same all around inside and out mostly..So tell me what you got inside and I'll tell you what I did to mine.
She's a dark red/wine color with a grey accent stripe. The interior is a cloth in a brown/tweed color. The seats are bench in the back and the front is the folddown armrest bench. Sliding rear window, no cd, as of yet. My initial plans are tint the sides, new, louder exhaust, K&N, and maybe some mudding tires. But for right now she is the baby, the other truck is now the brute. Might just have a little sibling rivalry going on here. SO anyone know of any good dual exhaust, I like a nice loud, rumble, thats deep and cheap.
