2001 F150 S'crew

I have about 24,000 uneventful miles on my truck. Has anyone had any problems. Will soon be upgrading to a K&N intake and flowmaster exhaust. I've always felt engines last longer when they can breath easier (maybe I'm way off here) I live in Florida and am considering the switch to 10W-30, from what I've read it shouldn't be a problem (I've occasionally heard a little excess knocking just after start up, tends to go away though) anyway has anyone heard of any wacked out things I should keep an eye out for, and do these plans sound reasonable.
I appreciate any thoughts...

Andy

Does anyone know where to get a gun rack that works well with the s'crew and a split window...

Hi drewfl1073 and welcome to FTE

If you scroll a ways further down on the main forum page you'll find the Oil forum. I'm sure you'll get lots of opinions there.
Personally I would stick with what Ford recommends but not everyone feels that way
