I haven't been putting as many miles on the V10 because my commute to work is longer than.my wifes so I've been driving the grand am. Past week I have been driving the V10.
It seems when the engine is semi cold I get a pretty good amount of black smoke when I give it around half throttle or more. Itmay have done it before and.never noticed. My dad actually noticed it this time and I started paying more attention and it seems to be everytime its cool. Ever since I got this truck I have randomly had a code for the IAT sensor reading wrong and erratic. It has an SLR Performance resistor hooked up and I instantly removed it and fix the wires. Codes were p0114 and p0113 if I remember correctly.
Truck is an 05 3v with a Diablo on 87 tune with k and n drop in and flowmaster catback
Any suggestions on what to do? I have cleaned the MAF, filter, and throttle body. No vacuum leaks that I can tell. Esof doesn't work becauce the hubs are bad but it holds vacuum.
