D60 swap.......FINALLY!!!
I got this D60 from Jim Rose (thanks again Jim !) and I'm swapping it into my '97 F250. The axle was out of a dually, but the hubs from my F250 will fit on it in place of the extended hubs for the budd wheels. I put one on this evening just to make sure. I'm getting it cleaned up and ready for some new seals, bearings, axle joints and ball joints. I'm shooting for Sunday to do the swap!

Man bill you sure are making progress on that truck! I have had my d60 since earlyer this year and it still isnt in yet. But last week i did pull it out of the weeds and it is sitting on a trailer now. Enough bout me, take lots of pics!

I've been wanting to put a D60 under this truck since the day I brought it home Gabe. There are some other things I need to do to it, like fix the new fuel leak and get the rough idle issue fixed, but I finally got my hands on this axle, and I can't wait to get it in there! LOL!!

I'M ONLY ONE MAN!!!!!!!
I changed the front springs a couple weeks ago to three leaf from the '97 250 parts truck. The D60 had three leaf springs on it, and I know the 250 and 350 springs are a different rating, but I'm gonna leave the springs for now and if it beats me to death, I'll put the ones that came with the D60 on it later. It's been brought to my attention that I need to be working on the cc project, so I'm afraid if I mess around with the 250 too long, I could be reprimanded! LOL!!!
