I have a 2008 F-350 and I would like to know what kind of fuel mileage are you guys getting with a Spartan package #1 towing a 32ft trailer running about 65-70?

So you drive an 8500lb truck and you want to tow a 32ft trailer at 65-70MPH and you expect better than 10 MPG? I don't know many 1 ton gassers that will get 10MPG running empty at that speed. Just sayin

well I guess my question is can I get better Fuel mileage if I put the Spartan tuner on my truck its a diesel not gas.

You will get better mileage, it will not regen anymore.
Guessing how much mileage you will get based on pounds, I don't get.
It matters more on what type of trailer.
I bet a truck pulling a flatdeck with 10,000 lbs of steel plate could get maybe 15 MPG on open highway at 60 mph.
Same truck might get 8 mpg pulling a giant 5er weighing the same under same conditions.
I have gotten almost 20 mpg out of my truck steadily even with the DPF, but I've never started it unless it was hitting the highway.
There are guys that average 10 empty, I guess it's driving habits, and condition of DPF, etc.
I have noticed the 6.4 really burns fuel when loaded or running harder. My 6.4 running empty get around the same mileage as my old 7.3, but hauling a trailer the 6.4 burns a ton more fuel.

The answer to the question is yes but it will greatly depend on your driving habits/conditions. I gained roughly 4MPG with the addition of the Spartan, that's unloaded on the highway. As for towing, I don't do much so I can't testify to any substantial differences. As mentioned above it will also greatly depend on the style of trailer you're pulling and the terrain you travel across. If you tow a 32ft 5'ver then I can tell you that LOTS of guys would be over joyed to get 10 MPG with that load. Even a bumper hitch travel trailer at those speeds meets a lot of wind resistance. In the end the Spartan will definately help, just maybe not as much as you expect or want it to. My only other suggestions would be to slow down a bit when towing and I can almost guarantee you'd pick up another 1-2MPG. These trucks were built to work and overall I'm sure you'll enjoy the ease at which it tows and the fact that you aren't rolling down the highway, white knuckling it and dreading every incline or steep grade.
