I have the new hot pursuit and it is awesome. They have a feature that updates your scores/times with those of your friends so that you guys can compete for best times. Of course you can do online races as well.

The crown vic cop car is amazing, I believe they actually have the Carbon Motors E7 too IIRC...

I have it on PS3. The new NFS games are co-developed by Criterion who made the Burn-out series.

When I get MY BOX online - HOT PERSUIT will never be the same.

I want to play one of the COPS!

~So watch out if you ever see "Officer Greywolf" on that site

I promise to spoil your whole day!

*Electronic Arts has always produced driving games that have a more playable and interesting "FEEL" to the driving experience. I could never get seriously 'into' the "Grand Tourismo" games, because they were too critical and provided NONE of the "SEAT of the PANTS" feel that EA does in their games.

Yet - EA is behind all of the NASCAR series games, which you have to be a real race fan to follow.
They are just that good.

~Your hands get tired after a while, but you just can't let go in the middle of TALLADEGA

It's the closest thing to real NASCAR racing, without a dozen sponsors and a quarter million bucks to put into the car

*Electronic Arts also made the ROAD RASH series, and I hope they bring it back!!! In FACT - I'd like to see a "RETRO SERIES" come out on X360 and PS3, with all the earlier versions ported to the new systems

Just got my latest copy of "GAMEINFORMER"

GTA V is the feature story - I didn't know that earlier versions had the likes of Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda as voice actors, interesting.

But the big news is "FAR CRY 3" - It's won 18 E3 awards, and one comment on it was "THINK SKYRIM, BUT WITH GUNS"

~That I think I'll have to have...

*Not a racing game I know, but worthy of comment

So what is the latest and greatest out from Electronic Arts, or upcoming that I need to pay attention to?

*I still need a copy of NFS U-2 for the X360, failing that I need another PS2. But then, I had to canniballize three of them in the last five years just to keep them going

~They develop read errors, and one of them crisped it's power supply (not the plug-in unit, the one inside the deck)

I think I had GT IV on PS-II, I will admit, for a PS2 game, the graphical presentation was JAW DROPPING...

You may have a point, as I think on it I will act on that recommendation

Does it still have extreme long racing venues - such as the Nuremburgring and all that?

~The only thing that I thought detracted from it was a lack of 'seat of the pants' feel to the driving, and very critical fail levels

NFS tends to be much more playable

NFS is much more interative for sure. This GT is amazing looking and has 1000+ cars. It has sone long races but most arent too bad. You can play as a crew chief also and mentor a computer driver. Also in this game they have thr licenses for nascar as well as go karting and a few others.

That's expanded a lot, man. I think I want it BAD!

Especially if it has hi-def "Down to the dirt in the sidewalk cracks" appearance....

Make me jealous - go ahead.

What's the norm for a retail tag on it?

*I go to GAMESTOP a lot, and try to pick up used as much as I can

Ya know what? (he sezzz drily) we haven't seen the thread starter here in a while - I wonder if he lost his job...
*or interest

It always did seem kind of hokey and artificial

~You just KNEW it was a bunch of BS from the start, and that helps nothing

I still thought that if the author was 13 or so - it would figure, and shouldn't be challenged

~But I will NOT rep anyone on FTE who does not portray themselves AS themselves (in HONESTY)
THAT persona isn't right

*I have also removed myself as a friend (the only one, it seems) for the above reason

We don't need "POSERS" here

NOTE: THIS WAS NOT FROM A SPONSOR.
Sponsors have GREEN names

If the guy was from a DEALERSHIP - THEY WERE TRYING TO GET ADVERTISING FOR FREE

THAT'S WRONG!!!

Whoever it was, was either juvenile, or RIPPING OFF FTE

*MODERATOR ALERT - where has this clown gone on here, and what was posted?
