I already have my project truck, but it may become parts for a trail rig but I still want a dd that I can get to my camping spots in. my wife won't get a truck longer than a scsb.
I'm 6'4" and I can sit in the backseat of my supercab F-150. In college my truck was the only one with 4x4 and 6 seat belts, so it was loaded up repeatedly to go camping north of Crested Butte, CO. I dragged my rear bumper pretty often but it never did any damage, and always got us where we thought we should go. Usually had 3 people up front with two in the backseat. Gear in the bed. These trucks have great middle seats up front so long as you get the bench.
My dad drives a Bronco, I think they're pretty roomy. We had four of us in that all the time, no dogs though. A roof rack would be a good call with the Bronco though.
I'm partial to the F150s being thats what I drive, but in either case you'll be fine. They don't ride like a Cadillac, and I'm not sure if you'll think the suspension is stiff, but its a truck...duh
depends what year super cab. the back seat in my 95 faces forward and does not sit on the floor. I am only 5'9" but I can sit back there comfortably and my three teenagers ride back there all the time without complaining. I wouldn't want to be moving a car seat in and out of there though.

Every supercab from 80-96 had the seats on the floor, unless you have the aftermarket riser kit or unless you had the rare jump seat option which is about useless
I guess someone could have added the riser kit,but my seat has enough room underneath it to store a small tool box, some oil and antifreeze jugs, and a first aid kit with room to spare. and it is a bench seat.

Then you have the riser kit. Stock you are luck to put a pair of gloves under the seat
Both the supercabs I've owned were like Brad says. My dad had a supercab that a PO had put a riser kit in and when he sold that truck he swapped it over to his next supercab.
