Well I just passed the 11k mile mark on my 2012 f250 sd. The truck had the programmer and 5" straight pipe installed after 300 miles(first week) of driviing. I have been averaging 18.8 mpg running in hot mode , no pig **** added and no egr to screw up. The back tires have certainly taken a beating and will need to be replaced before the snow flys next month. I couldn't be happier with the ride and performance of this truck!
Love mine too, but the wife doesn't like the diesel smell either, so I told her we could drive 2 cars to Church. LOL
I like the diesel smell.
BTW if you just want more power you can run the factory exhaust, still have to buy DEF, but you gain about 80-100 horses, I forget which.
Wow what a difference. EGR Delete, DEF delete, 5" with muffler, S&B Cold Air Intake, H&S Mini Max Tuner, best thing I've done. Added close to 150 horse.
Welcome to the dark side Rotney! Just expect that you won't be able to not think about driving it. I swear for the first few weeks I would look out my window at work and couldn't focus on what I was doing.
I have had my truck on the Dyno and I have a DPT delete,5" exhaust H&S programmer I had 487 HP at the wheels with 1180 pounds of Torque I get 22-24 MPG on the hwy and 18.5 in town this is my daily driver. I own an Auto Repair Shop so naturally I do all my own work.
