Me personally, the 6.4 is the least reliable of the 4 motors. But with all its reliabilty issues, its built very well with a TON of fuel and air on tap.
I was at the dealer yesterday and made a point t visit with the guys turning the wrenches on the diesels there.
Now this is the primary Ford diesel shop in the area.
What I got from them is that the 6.7L's are not having major problems such as was described by the OP.
What they are seeing are EGR carbon blockage problems due to the trucks not being run hard enough.
My truck may be ready Friday. I still have not found out if they ordered a 6012 or a 6007 motor. Hope to find out.
The 6.7 is a reliable motor fellas. Just google it and search for problems, wait until the population of 2011 models reaches 5 years old. Then we will know.

Great news! Hope it works out for you. There will always be some growing pains with a new from scratch motor. Lets just hope Ford steps up and takes care of their customers like they are for you. Cheers!
