My trucks an '84 F-350 chassis-cab that has some weird custom-made 10-foot dually bed on it. It's a standard 8-foot dually bed that has an extra 2-foot section attached to the front, and currently there's a 100-gallon aux tank in that space.
I'm toying with the idea of replacing the bed with a flat bed.
But my truck presents some unique challenges. One, I think the frame is longer than a standard F-350 (it must be, right?) and I've also heard that chassis-cab frames are narrower than a regular dually frame would be.

if you are wanting to buy a new flatbed, i haven't seen a manufacturer that doesn't build longer beds, my last employer ordered 10's and 12's fairly regularly to install on trucks.
as far as searching for used ones, just keep an eye on medium duty trucks, and know how far apart your frame rails are. cab/chassis typically have 34" frame width,
