Has anyone ever tried to use them on their truck? Im talking the Nylon style that are used on the newer cars with the quick disconnects. Im going E fuel and this seems to be a much cheaper/better quality route. What do you guys think?
The only thing (aside from whether the material would be adversely affected by the diesel) would be how the connections are made. These truck PULL the fuel from the tank to the pump, not PUSH it from the tank like most fuel injected vehicles. That makes these systems a little different than a lot of FI systems and some types of quick connect fittings don't like operating under a suction rather than pressure.
Thanks for the input. Just got off the phone with the company and they said it will work for suction or pressure systems, and its approved for diesel fuel!
I say give it a shot then! Are these custom built or do you make them to fit? I think you need to take lots of pictures and do a writeup if you go this route.
