The predator was/is an excellent carburator.....easy to rebuild and minimal adjustments.....I really doubt you could get a carb to perform that well without doing a dyno tune and then additional track testings!!!!!!

great off road carb!

used to mudd race this carb. really like this carb but a well tuned holley will out run this carb. but a well tuned holley can't compete in serious off road extreme angles either. been their done that! need side hung floats for off road carb of holley type. predator seems to run well in all applications but getting the air fuel just right i never figured out. ran well all over is my lasting memory of this carb. i once layed my truck over and me and my buddy was impressed with the fact that it still idled laying on its side. its funny the things you think about during a near death experience. catch you later and you will like this thing. forgot to mention hope you got some extra room under hood for clearance, tall carb!

At 5.5 inches it's deffintlly taller when I was building the motor I had issues with how tall the motor was sooooooo I connected a fellow from Wisconsin found him on the Delaware valley lighting forum had a cowl hood made up . I believe his name was Brain . Really nice guy with a really bad a$$ product . The hood is amazing . From what I understand he also makes all kinds of fiberglass parts for OBS FORDS. He had a website too not sure if it's still up but I can tell you his products are the best. My only other concern with the carb is how my tps is gonna be hooked up. I run a e4od standalone from hgm so I need to figure that out but other that I'm really looking forward to the new carb I'll post some pics later of the set up
