Introduce myself here?
Hi there. I just bought myself a second vehicle. My VW Diesel Wagon is awesome, but I forsee a need to tow things, haul stuff and head down logging roads. Searching around I found an 1993 F250 diesel in two tone blue and white.
I'm in Western Canada, and plan to someday own another horse. I used to tow a trailer with a 2009 Tacoma, but had to trade down to something that used a bit less gas. Now with the two vehicles, I can park the truck until it's needed..

Or what?? Yes it's auto...
Not like I had a lot to choose from This guy had been sitting in his owner's garage for 8 years. The shop replaced the brake system, half the exhaust, the radiator, and some minor wiring.
I could have looked further afield, but the car lot's ownder is a friend of mine and I know his sister. He wasn't going to mess around on me too bad.
Once I locate my camera I'll take some interior pictures. It's remarkably clean and unscuffed. No tears in the upholstery after 20 years. I find it quite funny that it still has the original tape deck. I haven't decided if should swap that out. I don't mind listening to the radio.
A simple auxiliay-in port might be enough, then I could use my iPod for music on trips.
In any case, the truck is only for dump runs and towing. I hope to have it for years and years. Eventually it will become a classic.
