Hey, do not forget to check the coil resistance on the IPR - should be 10.2 ohms. If way over or under, coil is likely bad and the mechanical parts on the IPR could be good.

I get 10.7ohms what is considered way over or under?
I'm having no start issues with my truck also & got 10.8 when testing my coil. I replaced mine with one off of a working truck with no luck, the working truck tested 10.7. From what I've been reading as long as the ohm reading holds steady at around that 10-11 range it is good. If it fluctuate's up & down then it is most likely bad
Well here is an update.
The truck still does not run, it has coughed a couple of times.
I get smoke from the tail pipe, have 10.5-10.8 volts at the pcm during cranking.
I have cleaned the IPR and tested the coil, tested both batteries and they are good, replaced the fuel.
Anything else I can try before I ship it of to the shop?
