I need some advice on how to remove the factory downpipe on my 94 idit. Cab mount bolts will not budge with a half inch impact. So do I have to cut it and where? Any help appreciated.
What cab mount bolts ate you referring to? if you have it free at the bottom, there should be just a v-band clamp at the top to remove it from the turbo outlet if your just trying to get the downpipe off. It looks kind of like a hose clamp with I believe a 7/16 nut on it.
Just undo Ur cross member on the transmission and lower the motor and trans a Lil..... I found that was the easiest way to get it out when I did my clutch job

I just did a 3" down pipe on mine. It's a 94 F-350. Once loose at the bottom, I had to wiggle and turn it and it finally came out. Much easier to do the firewall when it's out of the way.
The cab mounts are good but maybe the rubber compresses more on some trucks than others?
Kla how much did you dent your firewall to clear it? I have a Porto power so it should work good for that.
