Turbochargers quiet down all engines. You've probably been next to a turbocharged LSx and not even known it. Besides, an engine that sounds like 400Hp and makes 900Hp is a better sleeper any day!
I was wondering this as well. (I would like to put one into a ford ranger) so I was looking around for the same information and I came across a site called gotengines.com and got a quote and the apparently have the 2011 Ford F150 3.5l Ecoboost priced for $4,595 and states that it is in stock. That's just the engine though.
I also seen that the 3.5l Ecoboost is a transverse engine where as the Ranger is built for a longitudinal engine. How would one go about fabrication in order to make that fit? I am not very mechanicaly inclined at the moment but am about to attend school for automotive, so sorry if I post newbie questions.

I've looked at some truck magazines and the only thing I learned is some women have big ***** and others have big butts. Saw something that resembled a truck now and then, and yet it wasn't really a truck.
Peterson's 4 Wheel and Off Road is the only truck magazine I get any more. It's the only one that is clean enough to let a 6 year old read and see.
