on the upside we had some time to kill so i taught my son how to weld.

Visited a guy who parts out Ford pickups on Saturday. He has a closed knuckle dana 44 from a '59 f100 for sale. Forgot to ask how much. It's in Marysville Wa. It's going to a big swap meet next weekend.

Mark did your parts come? Hows the rebuild going?
I was out in the boondocks when you first started this thread.
Check your spindle to knuckle bolts and treads. When I was running the big tires my spindles pulled loose (pushing the truck to hard maybe) and ended up re-drilling, tapping for the next size up grade 8 bolts.
Good to see you passing on the skills with your helper.
Good luck in your quest
