My front end has been popping for some time now. I got under the truck to tighten the U-bolts which took care of the popping and i happened to look up..
My truck has been using a little water over the last year or so. I have to put in about a quart of water/antifreeze about every three months or so. I have looked before and never saw any sign of a leak. it dose not drip sitting or after a long drive. But now i see fresh rust on the crank pulley and the under side of the water pump.
I need a write-up on changing the water pump please.
How hard is it on these trucks ?
Should i get an OEM waterpump
I could use my book but i like the detailed instructions you get on this site better..
That doesn't look too hard on these trucks. for some reason, I thought there was way more in the way to pull off.
I have been wanting to do the antifreeze flush, thermostat and the duel alternator upper hose for some time now. I guess there was a reason i had not done it yet..
I did changer the belt two months ago.
Anyone know where i can find that big wrench for the fan nut ?
