A good Saturday
So I've had my 76 F100 for a while now eating away at the repairs and updating. Finally this morning I took it out on the road. Only about 8miles round trip, to a church playground workday. She fired right up and I made it home. This may not sound like much but being it didn't even run a year ago, I thought it was cool. Now just need to run new metal line for rear brakes and new metal fuel line(tons of crap in my inline filter before the pump). After that a new set of tires, the ones on it are OLD and side walls flex bad. Going now to pick up a bed, tailgate, doors and a grill insert. Found it all on Craigslist just 10mins down the road. If in good solid condition it leaves just one rust spot on the cab to fix

Nice score on the parts. Isnt it great when you find the stuff you're looking for in your own backyard, so to speak? That grill looks sweet. Whats amazing to me is even after years of neglect, these old trucks want to run. A little fresh gas and a hot battery and they usually will fire up, they may need some major tuning but they will run
