slipping transmission fixed!
I got my John Woods valve body from Clay at RiffRaff today, installed it and 'voila! No more slipping transmission on the 2-3 shift with my tuner energized! I kinda' hated to spend more money at this stage of my life, but, I'd hated it a lot worse if I burned out my clutches and needed one of those 4 or 5 thousand dollar trannies...So, thank you forum, those of you who pointed out to me that the 2-3 shift slippage was pretty common with the addition of tunes and that the cheapest solution was a valve body. Thanks to Clay for carrying the jwvb...reputed to be as good as any at a competitive price, quickly delivered. I'm a pretty happy camper with most of the things I think I need to go a coupla' hundred thousand miles with minimal investment. Now, if I can just get off my lazy a... and install the fuel bowl rebuild kit I bought, seal my leaking intercooler pipes a do the cv [?] mod. [reroute the oily air from the valve cover to the atmosphere] [What little mind I had is slipping away with age...got serious case of crs] Oh well! No big deal, huh?! No ones grading me...are they?

I am glad the JW valve body solved your problem. 
Now go drink another couple cups of coffee and get out there and get it done. I to sometimes have a hard time starting things but once I'm rolling I'm good... Ok maybe not good but I moving
