Has anyone ever used this Moroso tranny pan gasket with a stamped steel pan?

Moroso 93107 - Moroso Transmission Pan Gaskets - Overview - SummitRacing.com

I can read in the description it clearly says do not use with conventional stamped steel pan, but I was curious if any of you guys have used it with success. I rebuilt my tranny about a year ago and the pan is leaking (has been for a few months) so I thought about getting this one.

I think there is a reason they say not to use it.
