Bought what I thought was the right hose for my 73 390 with supercooling, but it is pressing against the crossmember, which looks neither right or like it will last.

Is this correct? If not, does anyone have the right part number?

 

I see that part number listed on rockauto for your radiator. I cant say for sure. My highboy is in middle of resto and I threw away the old hoses, so nothing to compare to.

 

I went out and looked at mine, but the numbers are worn off. It looks to me that mine is swapped end to end from yours. The molded bend is up, which puts it above the crossmember and clears it going to the radiator by about 1/2". I can't remember if I had to trim a little off the radiator end to get it to clear. Not much extra room to play with under there.
