theres 2 set numbers to look at
ICP
ICPV this one is.14v to .25v at KOEO
and IPR% this one normally 14% or so KOEO and 21-22% Idel
IPR Valve is the Controller of HPO
ICP is the Measure of HPO PSI
and really were looking at cause of rough Idel Right?????
so it would be good to get the numbers DURING the rough Idel
if the idel is smooth its all going to look OK normaly so catch it when rough
OEM oil filter Cap ?????????
Yeah, oil filter cap is the original. My plan is to get it rough idling and then check all that. Yes, those numbers are IPR%. I don't think I have a code for ICPV. Do you have one?
ICV 07E02216AD 0462451606AD 3010 004827100000 Injector Control Voltage (Volts)
Key On = 0.2
Low Idle = 1.0
High Idle = 1.8
Operating Range = .15‐4.7
Thanks Benny. I'll put this in in the morning and test it later in the day. Unless you think it's a bad idea, when it starts the rough idle, I'll flip the high idle switch. That REALLY seems to hack it off and it will start coughing, rolling idle, and just sound like crud in general. Surly some of these numbers will have to look screwy.
The update: as fate would have it, never ran better, so no data. Only thing I noticed that was any different from predicted, is that my ICV doesn't change much at high idle (runs about 1.15). It only runs about 1.7 at 75 mph (2000+ rpm). Make anything of that? Are there any ScanGauge readings that would help determine if the fuel pump is running right? Any time there are 2 problems, try to figure out how they may be related. I keep coming back to my wiggling fuel gauge and trying to associate that and the rough idle as one problem. No luck so far.
