Front end noise

I have noticed that when ever I turn left from a stop or slow speed there is a loud pop. I recently changed the steering box but made sure everything was good and tight. I didn't see anything and shook all the connections and didn't find anything loose. Any ideas?

Have you inspected the ball joints? They are tough on these truck, and it usually requires a prybar to really see any movement.

Check the U-bolts. that was my problem.. They all were between 60 and 35 bls due to the u-bolts stretching..

Grease the steering components. That solved my clunks 2 out of 2 times.

Make sure there isn't anything to your left, small children, garbage cans, they can make a pop when you hit them.
