I cant see why people rag on this guy. He sure as hell wouldnt be showing people how to do these things on the internet if he was trying to sell you something. Why does he even bother informing people about these engines? Lots of hours spent making these videos and yes im sure he gets some business from doing that but what a great place to go to visualize what is going on when you are repairing something you have no clue how to repair or replace. Print only goes so far before you need illustration and he is very informative on the 7.3 in my book. This forum is great but lacks illustration when you need it. Some like me need pictures, "Do I need to draw you a picture,? In my case YES, you do. He tries to help someone he dosent know from Adam and gets ridiculed, that is just amazing to me. Am I missing something.

IMO a fair chunk of the info is pretty helpful and quite reasonable. The remaining stuff is a mix of questionable practices and absolute bad information.
Example: There is absolutely no reason to attempt to change the HPOP reservoir oil during an engine oil change. It has zero benefit and introduces the opportunity for 3 or 4 bad things to happen. (stripped threads, debris in reservoir, leaking o-ring etc). Keep in mind that even if the HPOP oil is changed....there is still about a quart of oil in each cylinder head that remains. It's just not worth is to mess with the HPOP oil.
An example of questionable items could be the 'Volcano Effect' video he has. He has developed a product (EDAS)that claims to protect the 6.0 and 6.4 engines but he also offers it for the 7.3.....IMO that is just wrong to mislead folks into believing the device will benefit a 7.3 in any way shape or form.
Many members on here do provide "illustration's" in the form of pictures and even some video's. Also internet links to such material are often provided. If you prefer powerstrokehelp that's fine. There are multiple threads on this subject, just do a search and you will find them. And Welcome to the site.
What about the video he has where he's talking about and showing an engine that has a burnt piston that he said he just put a set of injectors in..makes me wonder anyway
Ya, I can't see any reason to try and change the hpop oil, but I did find his waterpump video to be very useful, especially that job being the first of my yonder on prev maint.
Steve, do you work for Bill, or kin to him? You have 3 post and 2 are right here. Why do you think people rag on him? Why is it so important for you that you post this?

One thread here, one in the 6.0 forum and one somewhere else about a fuel pump issue...
If I have something I am fixing to do to my truck or someone elses truck and I have never done it before the FIRST place I come to is here. These folks have helped more than any Youtube video and they will stick with you until you have fixed the problem or completed a mod.
There is a vast amount of pictures and how to's on here.....Just ask.
I have been on the Dodge forum alot and they are nowhere near as fast to respond as here.FTE is the best all around.
Saved and spent lots of money here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So now Im getting ripped. Why do you assume I work for him or am related to him? I am looking for information just like anyone else on the internet. I assume you had 1 post at one time then 2 then 3. I am flying to Denver from North Idaho to purchase my first diesel and like everyone who gets thier first diesel there is a large learning curve. Ive always worked on my own vehicles so Im a little intimidated by diesels right now. Im not even sure why I am doing this, I have a excellent running 1995 460 Ford with 218,000 miles that was rebuilt at 165,000 and I put in a new clutch and pressure plate at 185,000 and the typical brakes rotors and ball joints but it has been really good mechanically for me. So why does a guy that has something paid for do this? I dont know, to go 60 up a hill instead of 45 I guess. Get 13-14 mpg hopefully instead of 7-8. I do nothing with my pickup but pull so that is one of the reasons and the other reason is I got a 2001 F250 with 177K for 8000 which I thought was pretty reasonable until Im sitting in the middle of Wyoming waiting for the tow truck. So, thats the long answer so I kinda wanted to know what spare parts I should have on my way home. HA! Anyway thanks for the input I just was wondering why someone who sounds like is generally trying to help gets beat up. He had a real informative clip I thought on buying a used powerstroke so anyway, I have already learned alot from his website and this one as well especially the tuners, so thanks alot.
