slow poke
why is this site so slow? it is not getting the post it used to because of this speed ,i think....where has everyone gone ?i guess it takes way too long to brouse. is there a new site that has taken over ..i did visit daily, but now ,once a week is plenty. see ya next week.

Just a guess - all of the advertising is probably necessary to offset the cost of maintaining a basically free site. All the ads are probably bogging things down.
While it can be a bit annoying (slow), that won't stop me from visiting. Too many good people and good info to pass up.

This site is horrible with ads, slowing down the system. There's a lot of times my computer gets jammed up and frozen waiting for ads to load. Many times I have to click the reload button for it to continue. Other times I have to log out completely for it to clear itself.

I have no problems as for speed it's pretty fast most of the time. I am a supporter but i believe the ' Adblock ' i have is doing it's job,no adds at all. I have noticed some of the names don't come up as often but i have seen a lot of new names. I come and go every day but spend more time on the 73 to 79 forum as i no longer have the 51 truck.
