I need a new front bumper for my 86.
Has anyone had any experience with either LMC's bumper or ones of ebay, or other sources i ahvent seen?
Specifically a chrome with no holes, pads, or guards.

I put a chrome LMC bumper on El Guapo after I hit a deer and took out the front end. Quality was okay, although it seemed to be a bit lighter than the OE bumper. Obviously, they all come with holes for mounting, unless you go custom with bolts welded on the back and the original mounting holes filled in. I am sure there may be other sources, too, but I am not familiar with their product.
Years ago, I purchased one from Keystone Automotive for my son's 1984 F150. That is a company which primarily services body shops as well as dealerships. A friend of mine worked at a dealership and was able to get it for me.
The quality was excellent! It did not come with the rubber air dam on the bottom edge. It has been on the truck for approximately 8 years and still looks great! The weight seemed to be the same as the original bumper.

Don't buy the LMC bumper if you want original OEM quality or safety. They are alot lighter and bend easier.
Get a NOS bumper, or one from a Junkyard.
