How high?

Ok hi everybody we have a 84 B2 4x4 manual tranny currently running 235 75 R15s which if you turn just right they rub. Well I got Jeep 15x7 wheels that I am putting on but I want to put on some bigger tires. I want some 31 10.50 R15s on thier. Only thing is how high should I lift the truck to do it. I want it to fill in the fenders really well but not to much where they rub. I don't want to cut any fenders or anything. Do they even make lift kits for these B2s. Plus would the 2.8L V6 handle it well? if not then I will keep running the 235 75 R15s which was planned but my brothers want to run the 31s. Any response would be greatly appreciated. BTW: the truck has 320,000 some miles on the truck but the engine tranny and tcase has in the 180,000 range.

Three inch body lift might fix you up. Check with James Duff Enterprises for a lift kit. They have off road parts & V8 conversion parts for Rangers & B2's. The 2.8 is a good engine, but it's a small V6, so it will be noticed if you put on the larger tires.
