As discussed in a previous posting some time ago, our models do not generally have them although some say that it may have been a dealer feature but I know I and many others have never seen them on our model year trucks.

Is your ride hot or just low air flow? Just want to maintain the heck out of your truck? What's up?

Just seeing if there was one to change. Since the truck is 11 years old if its really not known that there is one then the PO probably never changed it

I disagree. There COULD be one on your truck. It is true that most of our trucks did not come with a cabin air filter, but there was an add on kit that the dealer could put in these trucks. The kit has been discontinued because of low sales, but it was available.

Check under the dash in the passenger footwell If there is a tab on the bottom side of the air plenum, you have a cabin filter. If not, don't worry about it.

There is NO kits avalable. I have never even seen the part number in any books, or on line. There is this rumor going around there is a kit, but no evidence.

The Ford part number for the kit is "F65Z-1477-AA". It is no longer available, but was an add-on that the dealers could put in a truck.

I will not argue the point, just to tell the OP to check for it.

The part number is parsing weird the middle section should read 1 8 D 4 77
