Edge Evolution software question...

Edge Evolution software question...
I have the Edge Evolution 15050 Programmer for my F150 and recently tried to get the Lightning software working. I couldn't find the cd that came with it, so I was able to find a link on Edge's site for the Lightning software. I installed it and tried hooking it up and it said the following:
Unable to determine Evolution Version. The unit may be in 'Run' mode. This software only supports EEF2400 and EEF2100 Evolution models that being with version E3 (ex E3.20.21). If the version is correct, the Evolution may be in 'Run' mode, is currently set as a Stock Writer, or the Memory is corrupted.
I'm somewhat stumped as what to do next, either to try to contact Edge in the morning and wait to see what they say, or to download the Fusion software and go that route? I was wondering what others would do in this situation.
I'd appreciate any help! Thank you!
