They were $30 more. Delivered in 2 days with Prime. I would rather know that I have them than take a chance on the other company getting them in on time. Plus, I needed them now, not a month from now
If you're getting them within 10% of OEM and within your shipping window I think you did great
This is Definately on the mod list will keep Amazon in mind as an option
Did you have to spec your truck to order or was it selectable?
Good luck getting them from amazon. I ordered twice, the first time the box was ripped open and the shocks where not the ones I ordered. I refused package and told them about it. They send the second package and per ups the box arrived open and there where no shocks inside the box.
That's interesting. Typically Amazon shipping does a decent job with their packing and shipping, and when they screw up they typically make it right without hesitation. But it sounds like you have a thief working in the supply chain between them and you.

I would highly suggest going to Rancho's website and making sure they send you the correct part numbers. I have very little faith in their parts selection system, as I've had problems with it in the past.

Surprising, never have had a problem with amazon. But things do happen and from other peoples experience amazon quickly makes it right without question.
I did a search and found a previous thread on these. The parts numbers are:
Front: RS999042XL
Rear: RS999254XL
That is for a stock F250. At least that is what they ordered and used.
Also from those threads I confirmed what I had read online that Truckaddons has a horrible reputation. Someone said Summit will match prices so I may see what they say. Truckaddons was $329.99 for the 4 with free shipping and they have a $20 promo off $200 or more. When I tried to use it it said can't be used online but could call.

Yeah, tried that already. I was told that their $329.99 price was already cut to the bone and that they couldn't go any lower. What bad things have you heard about them? They have a lousy website to say the least, and this is the first I've ordered from them.

The other threads on here they said that they didn't ship items until after they called, lost or misplaced orders, etc. Ended up taking several weeks and several phone calls to get orders. I had previously Googled them to check their reviews and found many unhappy customers. I guess like anything the most vocal are the ones that had problems. I have never delt with them so I don't personally know. I am tempted by their good prices but concerned by their reviews.
They seem to have the lowest price that I have been able to find. Amazon was around $379 plus tax.

I was put off by the reviews and then I called and found out they were a month on back order.I think im paying 25-30 more after rebate by ordering at amazon but they shipped saturday and should be here this week.

Funny thing is that when the lady at truckaddons said she could ship them from a "different warehouse" for $40 more, she was quoting the exact numbers that Amazon showed in stock at the time. OK, so wait a minute. You want me to pay you $40 more, and you will buy them thru Amazon, and drop ship them to me? Hmmmmmm, I can get them for $30 more (instead of $40) via Amazon, and have them delivered in 2 days, plus get the fantastic Amazon customer service should something go wrong. Kind of a no brainer there.

Thats right he also told me he could have them drop shipped for 40 more.... Seems sketchy but who knows.
If you guys hear about a back order, PM me or reply to this thread with a P/N and I will try and get a "true" build/ship date for you all. My National Performance Manager is pretty good about trying to get stuff bumped up, if possible....
