helper spring 4 my helper spring

Ok I have a 2008 F350 4x4 V10 dually. I use it to haul a slide in camper. I have added spring stops so as to engage the helper springs early. Would like to beef up suspension and add another leaf to the helper spring not the main spring pack. Has anyone done this?

You could probably find a spring shop in your town and talk to them.
Short of that how about adding air bags?

I would think air bags would be better, add air when needed lower when not needed.
