Hairy, I would agree with Eric. When my caps leak at the injector, there is a slow drip at that injector, so one would think at the return line to the tank that drip would be magnified 8 times?

Another update, I have 4k miles on this kit now, and no signs of fuel anywhere!

Hmm interesting, so would these the the same clamping tool as you use on CV joint boots?
im going to be putting in new injectors soon and want to redo my lines.

I have never seen the tool they use, but I can't imagine it would be much different. I know my tool would work on a cv boot clamp. I'll try to get a few pics of it.

Yeah, the crimping tool is like a pair of end nippers. (I've done beverage dispensers too...)

I used the dipaco return line kit and haven't had any problem in the last 500 miles. The caps are PITA to get seated all the way. Once you do that the leaks stop. Used Vaseline on the orings.

one think i wonder about the heavier line is it putting side pressure on the caps....

as for the crimps, i was kinda thinking about doing that or a 6 jaw smash like on a hydraulic line.

Guys, I am two years in to this alternative kit now with no signs of leaking. I will definitely put one like it on my other truck when the time comes.
