Well guys, I may have some bad news about CTC. Not sure yet though. Dr said today that this is severe case of pancreatitis. Dr says we have only scratched the surface, hospitalization will be weeks, may have lost some of his pancreas, some tissue may be necrotic. At some point, not this hospitalization, they will probably need to remove gall bladder. Dr said abdominal CT looks like bomb went off in there. He is resting, still getting TPN, dilauded, fluids, potassium, antibiotic. xanax, haldol and restoril as needed. And some Dr ordered TENS unit, not sure how that is going to help but we will see. I'm kind of freakin out a little. Terri

David update- starting some clear fluids today-juice, broth, jello. Hope he tolerates it. GI Dr and surgeon just in, might cause nausea, vomiting, additional pain and to stop immediately if any occur. Repeat abdominal CT tomorrow.

So many things I'd like o say in order to thank ya'll.

Bryan, you missed your true calling when you gave up medicine.

I'm off a lot of meds today. I'm having difficulties keeping this straight.

God Bless you all.
