hard to start

my truck turns over but doesnot start on first attempt it will take two or three trys. fuel pump checked ok change fuel filter and plugs

How old is your battery? Mine use to start real bad. Got to the point where my radio would reset it was so bad. Finally figured it out put in a 1100CCA gold battery in and back to normal.

You said fuel pump checked out OK but I just want to make sure you meant the Fuel Pump Driver Module that is located above the spare tire. Those corrode out and cause the truck not to run.

truck still runs it just takes a couple a times of turning key it starts fine in morning after sitting al night

Try cycling the key on and off three times before starting, to see if its a fuel pressure build up issue
