Do you know what color wire is the constant on? Used a voltmeter and hit each pin with the truck off and did not find a constant on.
Are you sure that the 7 pin has a constant on and not a switched 12V lead?

I know on GM trucks the constant power is fused and the fuse is not installed from the factory. You have to install it yourself.
