axle ID help please
I need help figuring out what axle I have in the back of my truck if anyone can help.
It is a 1966 F250 Camper Special (7500GVW and 2WD) with axle code 24 (4:10 ratio) and does not have a data plate on the axle. the only numbers I saw on the case was " USPAT 2018188" on the rear face of the jackpot on the left side. the right rear of the case had "030255" (which may have had a 1 to start, but I could not tell for sure) on the upper side and "80" on the bottom right. The brake line bolted to the axle left of the cover, and on either side of the cover was a depression approx 1 inch in diameter. The cover was a 10 bolt with the fill plug in the cover centered width wise and to the right of the cover, and the left side of the cover bulged for the gear.
can any one tell me if this is a Dana (if so which) or the 9 inch?
