I have just purchased a 66 F100 ford custom cab truck. It is in very good shape. I am very new to this business and need some help.
I was told the engine is from a 1967 Mercury, 390.
I need some help in deciphering the engine plate. This is how the plate on the engine looks:
390 70 12 Ford
9M K311 AO (68 352)
Does anyone know what these numbers and letters coorespond to? Are there any web links that might help?
