That's how hot it was out today, and thats how cold the air was that was Blowing out of my vent..

This was the real first time i got to try my AC after doing the ranger waterline valve, air gap adjustment and adding freon ..

I'm sorry, what is this mod you speak of? I ran a search on it and nothing came up.

This is the mod they are talking about.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...-pictures.html
This is the ford ranger part from Advance auto parts if you enter 74809
Buy Factory Air Heater Control Valve 74809 at Advance Auto Parts
You will have to research the vacuum line and T's.
You can also rinse out your evaporator inside the truck with a garden hose to help.
You need to do a ac clutch air gap adjustment. Just search it. Lots of threads on it.
I hope this helps you get cooled down.
Dwayne

I was thinking of that too. I hope to have it done before then. I have an oil and fuel leak that started, I have to search that out then fix and hopefully do the AC as well. Also mit be going to wyoming on the 12th with the wife.

Where are the good valves available? I read reviews at Advance Auto and theirs were bad.
I want to do this with a good valve. Oreillys, Autozone, Dealership (cringe), etc ?
