Securing Emergency equipment

Where does everyone secure their emergencey equipment, Hi-lift jack, shovel, axe without keeping it in the inside? Can you secure it to the spare tire carrier? If so How?

Securing Emergency equipment

yo,
I strap the jack to my setina push bar. The shovel is a mil type and that goes under the passenger seat. The fire extinguisher rests in the security console as does the metal encased first aid kit and hand tools. Tow rope goes around ext. tire carrier that also carries fishing rod holders.
Nothing like having a jack or shovel clunk ya in da head in an accident, eh? Wish these Broncos came with frame/or body rib mounted tie-downs for this stuff instead of the plastic trim.

Securing Emergency equipment

I put some rings on the floor in the rear of the Bronco and use ratchet straps to hold down my hi lift, first aid kit, tool box, and other boxy items. I have a fire extinguisher and CO2 bottle bolted to the side compartments and another fire extinguisher bolted behind my center console. It's easy to reach for both the passenger and driver. I put all my chain, tow rope, and winch accessories in a water proof, air tight box that my place of business donated to me .
