Question Gas Cap Pressure

I have a strange question....is it normal to have a huge pressure build up in the gas tank that literally blows the gas cap out of your hand when you unscrew it? I have a 1983 Bronco with a Inline 6 Manual Transmission. For the last couple of months everytime I open the gas cap a huge build up of pressure comes out. It doesn't matter wheter I have driven it or if it has just been sitting...it still blows the cap off. None of my other vehicles do that. (Occasionally a small amount of pressure is released, but nothing like I am experiencing on the Bronco!) Just wondering if anyones has any ideas of what is wrong, or if this is just a natural occurence. Thanks for your help!

Gas Cap Pressure

Either the rollover valve in the top of the tank is locked up, or the vapor line that runs from it along the R frame rail to the carbon canister is plugged. Look at these pics.
