Anybody have their door speaker work intermittantly? Mine does and I can't get it to do it at the dealer. The dealer did call me and said there is a bulletin out just now that deals with the 2012 F150's but mine is a 2011 crew. Anybody seen this bulletin?
I have an issue with the driver's side door speaker on my 2010. I get it to work by quickly spiking the volume. It gets worse in the cold weather. Some day I plan on just replacing them with good ones. I'm not familiar with a TSB for it.
I had issues w/ pass front, replaced them with some from Crutchfield. Much better sound, but oddly enough the same one fades in and out at low volume. Like Brad said, turning up the volume gives it a kick in the rear then it works. I'll find the ones I got and post in a min

These are the ones I got, there are plenty to choose from. Free connectors and instructions with all purchases- I love Crutchfield! I liked the price also
I replaced my factory speakers with Infinity speakers I believe from Crutchfield. I am having an issue with the drivers side front door speaker crackling from time to time. I can't tell if its a problem with the wiring or the speaker. Come to think of it I can't remember if it is still cutting in and out right now or not. I'll have to investigate tomorrow. As with the rest if I cranked the volume the crackling went away. At times with lower volume it is present and the speaker cuts out completely.
I did the balance/fade test to see if the other 3 had issues but it was only the front door driver's side.
My 2010 Platinum lost a drivers door speaker. Sounded ok sometimes sounded really bad other times. It was replaced under warranty just before the truckhad 50000 miles! Sounds like yours is failing too.
Well, that settles it...it's not the speakers, it's the head unit. Fine with me...Sirius sounds better than when a CD is played through it. (That's how bad it really is) However, my iPod and Bluetooth sound excellent, and I use my phone mostly to play tunes.
