just so everyone is clear, I went to DFW to bitch about miss labeled signs. I never expected to get anything from that airport. They have too many lawyers and are a quasai governmental entity......I know better and deal with them daily.
I checked again today and the sign says 7'3, I was looking at the wrong exit. It was 6 a.m. and I was late for a flight. I measured and noticed it was 6'4 so it was improperly marked. Either way the airport lost my business after all the crap they've changed, for starters, and off airport parking for me full time now like before.
Wow...never mind my previous post, they are responsible for correctly marking the clearance. It's not your fault they don't know how to measure clearance.
If you file a claim with your insurance be sure to tell them of the incorrectly marked sign. Take photos and measurements and provide it to them. Your insurance company may then go after the airport, and there's a good chance this will be ruled not your fault. Good luck!
