1996 f-250 has loss of power on only one tank

Hey there, I recently bought a 1996 f-250 4x4 with 264,000 and it seem to run perfect on one tank but when I switch to the front tank it has about half the power. Is there a filter for each tank

trans issue as well

Just got this thing and i'm working out the bugs. 260,000 miles she is bound to have some. O/D light blinks on and off when left in O/D going down the freeway and kicks into limp mode, also slight converter shutter, however when left out of overdrive she is fine. any thoughts here

I would think if it was the pump it would not work at all, I could be wrong. It runs just fine down the hwy until i put my foot in it then she boggs like a clogged fuel filter. rear tank is just fine.

pumping good..... it was a bad check valve. leaking fuel into other tank, in turn loss of fuel pressure. problem solved
