I'm a little confused with wheel spacers(hub centric and reg spacers) I have f250/350 18 inch rims on and they rub when turning not a big deal. I noticed after driving on the beach this year that the rears are rubbing the inner fender wall. So instead of e expense of buying rims again can I just use these? 4 pcs 1/2" Thick | 8x6.5 / 8x170 Wheel Spacers | Billet Aluminum Heavy Duty 8Lug | eBay
No, the issue is that in 2005 Ford changed the Super Duty 4X4 line to coil springs in the front. This change also required different offset/backspacing in the wheels to mate up properly with the new hubs and brakes design. All 4X4 EX's have the older design leaf springs in front and the older offset/backspacing. The '05 EX was the only Super Duty family member to keep the leaves in '05 because Ford knew it was the EX's last year and keeping them the same would save money. So ANY wheel from an '05 or later SD truck will require hubcentric $pacer$ to keep the proper wheel track and prevent tire rubbing in turns. Rims from '04 and earlier SD trucks will swap on with no issues. The only plus sized (18") SD rims that fit without issues are the ones shown in my signature below, they were available on some '04 Lariats, King Ranch and H-D Super Duties.

WE3ZS has it right. I finally found a set of the optional 2004 wheels offered for F250 Lariats. The Hollander code is 3612. They are hard to find, but I think it saves a ton of grief and money compared to hubcentric spacers and "wrong" final drive ratios.

Actually Tim, Forest got his screen name from the color of his FIRST EX, Forest Green. That pretty Gold EX with the cool wheels he is wheeling now is named "Midas".
I'll have those new tires any year now...............
