1988 e150 score then nightmare!!!
This where it gets good, I started testing every thing, tsi unit great got it tested at an autozone, fuel pressure 45-55 psi, pip and spout signal great good votlage with in 3 - 8 volts ac, back from the pcm, got a second pcm just in case, scaned the old pcm and it read no rom data, test the coil voltage it was 90% of the battery, it look weak so I installed a msd blaster SS coil I had extra for my track car, new spark plugs
After all that it runs but,!!!!!! only with the fuel pump not plugeld in!!!!!!!!!?????? When its plugged in the van will not start at all. UNpluged it and it will start for ten seconds
I don't get it I have 4 car all BMW and Mercedes that need large amounts of work when i got them, I did it all !!!and this Ford refuses to be fixed!!!!!
Bench test the injectors good flow I don't get this fing Ford??!!!!!!
I going to do a full compression test, it I used one and only test cyclinder 6 and it had 130 and stay there for over 9 minutes
If anyone takes the time to read this thank you

The ECM doesn't control the fuel pumps, they're either on or off.
What you've done is just bypassed the ECM (circuit) that tells the fuel pump when to turn off.
That's a very well known "test" to see if the ECM is causing issues within the EFI system.
I know, it's as clear as mud right ??
Again, my take,
Bob

This is probably a stupid question but have you checked that fuel pump inertia shut off switch thing a ma bobber ( what ever it's called ) ? I've had to reset those on a few of my Fords in the past.
